An industrial freeze dryer removes water from frozen food by sublimation under deep vacuum. Our QS-FD series comes in three chamber sizes — 20, 100 and 200 m² of shelf area — each in Standard, Advanced and Premium configurations, all in SUS304 stainless steel.
| Model | Shelf area | Wet load / batch | Footprint (L × W × H) | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QS-FD-20 | ≈ 20 m² | 200–300 kg | 4500 × 1300 × 1400 mm | Pilot-to-small production |
| QS-FD-100 | ≈ 100 m² | 1,000–1,500 kg | 7000 × 4000 × 2300 mm | Mid-scale production |
| QS-FD-200 | ≈ 200 m² | 2,000–3,000 kg | 12000 × 4000 × 2300 mm | Large-scale production |

Start from your daily prepared wet input, divide by a realistic loading density (around 10 kg/m² for sliced fruit) and by the number of batches per day (usually one). The result is the shelf area you need. Then choose a configuration: Standard for cost-efficient fruit and vegetable production, Advanced for multi-product plants, Premium for coffee, dairy and export-grade products that need traceability.

FAQ
An industrial freeze dryer (lyophilizer) freezes food and then removes the ice by sublimation under deep vacuum. The result is a light, crisp product with 2–5 % residual moisture that keeps its shape, colour and nutrients.
Choose by shelf area: QS-FD-20 (≈ 20 m², 200–300 kg wet per batch) for start-ups and pilot runs, QS-FD-100 (≈ 100 m², 1–1.5 t) for mid-scale plants, and QS-FD-200 (≈ 200 m², 2–3 t) for large plants.
Most fruit and vegetable cycles take 16–24 hours. Coffee extract and thick products can take longer; freeze-dried candy is much shorter.
They are control and refrigeration tiers on the same chamber: Standard (≤ −40 °C trap), Advanced (≤ −45 °C, recipe storage, remote monitoring) and Premium (≤ −55 °C, data logging, auto defrost).
