Overview

What is the QS-FD-100 Industrial Food Freeze Dryer?

The QS-FD-100 Industrial Food Freeze Dryer is a QS-FD-100 industrial vacuum freeze dryer (lyophilizer) with ≈ 100 m² of shelf area, handling about 1,000–1,500 kg of prepared wet product per batch. It is used for strawberries, mango, fruit crisps, instant coffee, freeze-dried candy and health food, and comes in Standard, Advanced and Premium configurations with cold traps from −40 °C down to −55 °C. Typical food cycles run 16–24 hours to 2–5 % residual moisture.

Sublimation under deep vacuum

Ice turns straight to vapour, so products keep shape, colour, aroma and nutrients.

Cold trap down to −55 °C

Captures water vapour fast and protects the vacuum pumps, keeping chamber pressure stable.

SUS304 hygienic build

Food-contact chamber, shelves and trays in polished stainless steel, easy to wash down.

Three configurations

Standard, Advanced or Premium refrigeration and controls on the same proven chamber.

Even shelf heating

Circulating thermal fluid keeps shelf temperature uniform for consistent batches.

Factory acceptance by video

Every machine is run and filmed before shipment so you see it working first.

Process

How it works

  1. Freeze — product on trays is frozen to about −35 to −40 °C.
  2. Primary drying — vacuum is pulled to 10–60 Pa and gentle shelf heat sublimates the ice; vapour freezes on the cold trap.
  3. Secondary drying — shelves warm further to remove bound water down to 2–5 % moisture.

FAQ

Questions about this machine

What is the capacity of the QS-FD-100 freeze dryer?

The QS-FD-100 has ≈ 100 m² of shelf area and takes about 1,000–1,500 kg of prepared wet product per batch at a typical fruit loading density of around 10 kg/m². One batch normally runs 16–24 hours.

What is the difference between Standard, Advanced and Premium?

They share the same chamber. Standard (≤ −40 °C cold trap) is the cost-efficient core build; Advanced (≤ −45 °C) adds recipe storage and remote monitoring; Premium (≤ −55 °C) adds batch data logging, automatic defrost and remote diagnostics.

Which products can the QS-FD-100 dry?

Typical uses are strawberries, mango, fruit crisps, instant coffee, freeze-dried candy and health food. The same machine also handles meat, seafood, dairy and ready meals; cycle time and loading density change by product, so we recommend a sample test run.

What utilities does the freeze dryer need?

A 380 V three-phase supply (220 V and other voltages on request), cooling for the refrigeration system (air-cooled or water-cooled with a cooling tower) and around 1.5 m of service clearance.

How is the machine inspected before shipping?

Each unit is assembled, vacuum- and temperature-tested and filmed in operation. You receive the inspection video before shipment.
